Based in Aberdeen, UK, Saltire Projects Ltd was incorporated in 1998 to provide claims / dispute avoidance & resolution, contractual, commercial and project controls (cost, planning and estimating) services to the Construction and Engineering industries on a consultancy basis.

The principals of SPL collectively have over 90 years of broadly-based experience in these disciplines on medium to large-Capex Construction and Engineering projects both in the UK and internationally.

Whilst the core services we provide are delivered on a consultancy basis, in response to the demands of our clients we frequently source and provide professional personnel to work within our clients’ project teams under their direction.

All of our clients are ‘blue chip’ companies operating in the Construction and Engineering industries.

Recognition of the quality of our services and the professionalism of our consultants is borne out by the volume of repeat business we have enjoyed over the past decade from our clients.

Our specialist consultants comprise highly qualified construction professionals with world-wide experience.

Many of the appointments we are awarded are in respect of disputes, involving both technical and legal issues. In addition to their expertise in construction and engineering, some of our consultants hold further qualifications in law, arbitration and business management at Masters degree level.

SPL maintains an in-house library and access to industry databases associated with its core disciplines (e.g. Westlaw and LexisNexis law databases) and encourages its consultants in their Continuous Professional Development.

Any consultants or professional personnel on client-assignment from SPL have the full support of at least one of SPL’s principals should, for example, a complex problem require ‘back-office’ research and/or a second opinion.
